GravTimer Privacy Policy

Alan Inc. (the “Company”) has established this Privacy Policy regarding the handling of user information in “GravTimer” (the “App”), a smartphone application the Company provides. For the App, this Policy takes precedence over the privacy policy of the Company’s website.

2. Basic Principles of the App

The App does not require an account, does not display advertising, and does not use advertising identifiers or behavioral tracking. The Company does not collect information that identifies you personally.

3. Information Stored Only on Your Device

Timer durations, the labels and colors for each direction, display and sound settings, and the purchase status of extra features are stored only on your device and are not sent to the Company. Deleting the App removes this information from your device.

4. Information the Company Collects

1. Feedback — If you send feedback through the form in the App, we receive the text you enter together with the App version, the operating system (iOS or Android), and the device language. We do not collect your name, email address, or other contact details. Sending feedback is optional.
2. Firebase installation ID — The App uses Firebase (Remote Config and Cloud Firestore), provided by Google LLC, to fetch configuration needed for operation and to verify promotion codes. In doing so, an identifier that Firebase issues per device (the Firebase installation ID) is sent to Google LLC’s servers. This identifier does not identify you personally.
3. In-app purchases — Purchasing and restoring extra features is handled by the store systems of Apple Inc. (App Store) or Google LLC (Google Play). The Company does not receive your name, payment method, or other payment details.

5. Purposes of Use

The information collected is used only for the following purposes.

1. To provide the App’s functionality (configuration delivery and promotion code verification)
2. To improve the App and fix defects
3. To prevent misuse

6. Provision to Third Parties and Entrustment

The Company does not provide collected information to third parties except where required by law. To provide the App, the Company entrusts the handling of information to the following providers.

• Google LLC — Firebase (configuration delivery, storage of feedback, promotion code verification)
• Apple Inc. and Google LLC — processing of in-app purchases

The handling of information by these providers is governed by their respective privacy policies.

7. Retention Period

Feedback is retained for as long as needed to improve the App and deleted once it is no longer needed.

8. Security Measures

The Company takes necessary and appropriate security measures, including encryption of communications and management of access rights, to prevent leakage, loss, or damage of the information it collects.

9. Children’s Privacy

The App does not collect information that identifies users personally, regardless of age. The Company does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

10. Requests for Disclosure, Deletion, etc.

Because feedback contains no information that identifies the sender, the Company is generally unable to disclose or delete individual submissions. If you have a concern, for example because you included personal information in the text, please contact us at the address below.

11. Revisions to This Policy

The Company may revise this Policy in response to changes in law or in the App’s features. Significant changes will be announced on this page.
